TURNS OUT I MIGHT HAVE A GREEN THUMB AFTERALL

This weekend was a beautiful weekend for working out in the yard. I got our flower beds cleaned up and we finally had some time to fill our flower boxes. We had some dusty miller at our wedding. It's one of my favorites and I love the way it contrasts with the dark leaf plants. I also planted some basil and cilantro. It's doing pretty well so far. Can't wait to cook with it!

Oh Halfers! Great job! We are planting our garden on Wednesday . . . basil, serrano peppers, tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, green onions & squash. It sounds like quite the undertaking, but I am so excited to provide Noah and us with truly organic goods! I can't wait to make Tomato Basil pizzas!! Love you!
